Find your child's level
Level finderEnter a date of birth. You will see what MOE's own age checker returns for admission in 2027.
For admission in 2027. Dates from 2 January 2010 to 1 January 2020 are covered.
How to read the result
The result is a copy of what MOE's age checker returned when we entered dates in each age group on 18 October 2026. MOE places children in groups that run from 2 January to 1 January, so a child born on 1 January is in the older group. See the age-band guide for the full table.
The test MOE names is the one to apply for. Primary applicants must also reach the Cambridge English score shown before they apply; the Cambridge page explains the timing. How to apply lists the documents and fees.
Eligibility and level are decided by MOE. Run MOE's checker with your child's exact date and keep a screenshot before you book a Cambridge test.
