Where results appear

Outcomes are shown in the AEIS Internet System (AEIS-IS), a different site from the Candidates Portal you applied through. Log in with the passport number (or FIN) on the entry proof and the date of birth. MOE recommends Microsoft Edge.

Results are not emailed. Scores are not released. MOE: "Requests for a school transfer or the release of test results will not be considered."

2026 release windows

Primary 2 to 5 8.30am Thu 17 Dec to 5pm Mon 21 Dec 2026

What an offer is

A successful applicant is offered a place at a specific school and, possibly, a level below the one applied for (see the possible outcomes on the age-band page). Placement depends on "available vacancies in our schools and your declared residential area, where possible." You do not choose the school, and "the school posting is final."

Reporting deadline

You must contact the offered school within the reporting period in the outcome letter. For 2026: Secondary 2 and 3 from 11 to 30 December; Primary 2 to 5 from 18 to 30 December; Secondary 1 late December to early January. Miss it and "their places may be rescinded."

The Student's Pass

  • If your child already holds a valid Long-Term Visit Pass, Dependant's Pass or Immigration Exemption Order, no Student's Pass is needed. Admission is confirmed on reporting.
  • Otherwise, admission depends on obtaining a Student's Pass (STP) from ICA. The school gives you a Registration Acknowledgement Letter; apply to ICA as soon as you have it. ICA's site covers the requirements, including local sponsorship.

One restriction to know

MOE: applicants who received school offers through AEIS-Secondary or S-AEIS-Secondary "are not eligible to apply for subsequent editions of the Direct School Admission for secondary schools (DSA-Sec) exercise."

If unsuccessful

There is no appeal and no score. Options are the next S-AEIS (Primary 2 to 4 and Secondary 1 to 2 only, February or March) or the next AEIS, subject to the age bands, which shift by a year. Private and international schools are outside this exercise.
