Families who sat the 2026 AEIS tests, held in Singapore from Tuesday, 1 September 2026 to Thursday, 3 September 2026, are now waiting for the outcome. MOE's outcome page gives the dates and the rules. This post puts them in order.
Where to look
The outcome is shown in the AEIS Internet System (AEIS-IS). To log in you need two things: your child's passport number or Foreign Identification Number as stated on the entry proof, and your child's date of birth. MOE says Microsoft Edge is the optimal browser for the system.
When the outcome is released
| Level | From | To |
|---|---|---|
| Secondary 2 to 3 | 8.30am, Thursday, 10 December 2026 | 5pm, Monday, 14 December 2026 |
| Primary 2 to 5 | 8.30am, Thursday, 17 December 2026 | 5pm, Monday, 21 December 2026 |
| Secondary 1 | 8.30am, Monday, 21 December 2026 (tentative) | 5pm, Friday, 25 December 2026 (tentative) |
When to report to the school
A successful applicant must report to the offered school during these periods.
- Secondary 2 to 3: Friday, 11 December 2026 to Wednesday, 30 December 2026.
- Primary 2 to 5: Friday, 18 December 2026 to Wednesday, 30 December 2026.
- Secondary 1: late December 2026 to early January 2027.
MOE says applicants who do not contact the offered schools within the reporting period may have their places rescinded. The detailed reporting instructions are in the outcome letter, which you can open in AEIS-IS.
What is final
MOE states that the school posting is final. Requests for a school transfer, or for the release of test results, will not be considered.
MOE also says that applicants who received a school offer through AEIS-Secondary or S-AEIS-Secondary are not eligible to apply for later editions of the Direct School Admission exercise for secondary schools (DSA-Sec).
Student's Pass
MOE's page separates two cases. A child who holds a valid Long-Term Visit Pass, Dependant's Pass or Immigration Exemption Order does not need to apply for a Student's Pass, and admission can be confirmed immediately upon reporting to the offered school. A child without one of these passes is admitted subject to obtaining a Student's Pass. The school gives the family a Student's Pass Registration Acknowledgement Letter, and MOE advises applying to ICA as soon as possible after receiving it.
What we could not confirm
- The release dates for the 2027 AEIS. The dates above are for the 2026 AEIS, and MOE's page lists no dates for the 2027 AEIS.
- The date on which Secondary 1 results are released. MOE marks both the start and end dates of that window as tentative.
- What happens to a family that misses the reporting period beyond MOE's words that the place "may" be rescinded.
